Frequently Asked Questions How big´ are the stamps? The stamps are shown actual size on a 90 dpi monitor. The "ONE-INCH" scale in the lower right corner will indicate if your monitor is a different resolution! For instance, my Mac G3 Powerbook screen is 11.25 inches wide (14 inches diagonal). At 1024x768 pixels, that's 90 dpi, so the stamps are actual size on my screen. Where are the stamps made? Our stamp designs are produced, in historic Galena, Illinois, from original illustrations by artist Tom Metcalf, and geometrics by designer Peter Fraterdeus. Who did your website? Our website is designed using Adobe's GoLive for Macintosh, and served by the Apache httpd on a Linux server. Design & production by Peter at semiotx.com The shopping cart is written in PHP4, using the mySQL open source database. Peter is still working out the bugs in this custom cart, but he decided that all the commercial carts out there were 1) UGLY and 2) couldn't be customized enough to justify the expense (things like the 'unmounted' checkbox, for instance!) He hopes you'll be patient while the bugs are ironed out... |
Do you sell your stamps wholesale? Yes, we do sell wholesale, mounted stamps only. We don't currently have a printed catalogue, but hope to have something after the New Year. Wholesale orders can be initiated from our web site, once we've got your faxed resale registration (fax 815 777 9063). If you click the unmounted checkbox, the price will reflect the 35% discount... Send an email to remind us that this is a wholesale order. |
