These swirling and stellar designs are inspired by the incredible tiles in the Alhambra, palace of the Moorish Sultan of Granada in southern Spain.

The two groups shown here are modular designs, where the background grid can be stamped very lightly, and the modules are overlapped. Freehand arrangements are also very lively!

Try stamping the backgrounds, and coloring in the spaces with pencil or watercolor!
